SystemRescueCd is a free system rescue disk that can be booted from a CD or USB drive or installed on a hard drive. Its primary use is to administer or repair a computer system that can no longer boot, usually due to a crash. With the rescue disk, users can repair, reformat, debug, create or otherwise modify hard drive partitions or back up important data on a computer system that can no longer boot.
