We do not recommend installing this Windows 8.1 on a tablet. The presented system (x64) consumes only 0.6 GB of RAM immediately after installation. Even the famous Windows 7 can envy such efficiency. All the junk that can only be cut out of Windows 8.1 has been cut out. The assembly flies like a turbojet. You are unlikely to find a faster option for games and surfing. In general, Windows 8.1 is essentially very close to Windows 10.

But many disliked the “eight” because of its Start menu, which is best adapted for tablets, and not for PCs. By the way, the assembly itself will not work on tablets. Install it on PCs and laptops. The system will show itself very quickly even on ancient computers, because it is cut down to the maximum, but for games, the Internet and basic tasks – an excellent option. In general, it is quite strange that the 8-ka was so undeservedly rejected by many users, because in terms of speed it is close to the seven, and in terms of capabilities – to the ten.

Install this assembly if you need maximum speed, and this system will definitely not disappoint you with speed. Important: the assembly will not pull drivers for itself from the Network after its installation is complete, so install the drivers yourself.

Den’s builds weren’t as high-quality as this system right away. Excellent performance and stability were achieved through hard work. Initially, Windows 8.1 lite builds had a lot of shortcomings, but with each new release they got better. The errors found were fixed, the build algorithm was improved, and the performance was optimized. And now, in 2020, Den has created this excellent build that works phenomenally fast. All the software that was installed during tests on this system works flawlessly.

This is the first build from this author on the windows64.net portal, we suggest testing this system and evaluating it. But be sure to keep in mind that a lot of things were cut out of the original. You shouldn’t expect full functionality from a stripped-down build, because the purpose of such systems is speed and economy. Freed from junk, Windows 8.1 clearly wins in speed among many other lite builds. Plus, the “eight” has far fewer problems with modern hardware than Windows 7. It is initially adapted to both NVMe and USB 3.0, so there should be no difficulties with installing 8.1 Pro Lite.

The ISO images allow a browser installer and some user changes to the default Chrome browser, everyone can easily change the browser settings to their preferred ones. All author’s assemblies are checked for viruses before being published on the site. The ISO image is opened via dism, and all contents are scanned by an antivirus for malicious files.
