The most stable ten without unnecessary things, with eternal activation of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit for a 4 GB flash drive or DVD disk, for installation on any computer, it is proposed to download Windows 10 x64 with updates 2020 June LTSB for free. Windows64.net specialists decided to update the good old LTSB Compact. Because this is an excellent and popular assembly. In addition to updating the system itself, a new flblauncher was also downloaded and installed, and DirectX and Visual C++ were integrated, and Framework 4.8 was also added to them with all its updates. And another small update (for Flash player) was also not integrated, it will be installed without problems at your request in the Search for updates. The installer configuration was also slightly tweaked.

Well, the most important thing is that such an updated assembly already completely contains all the game libraries, and this is a big plus that the user does not need to look for them himself and install them. Therefore, if there are no problems with the availability of drivers for your video card for LTSB, then this assembly after such an upgrade will fly perfectly and will please you with performance in games. The build of this assembly turned out to be newer (you can check), and the system itself works completely fine, all additions of updates and cleaning were carried out only by DISM tools.

How the build was updated

  • The install.wim was unpacked from the original install.esd, and then mounted using Dism.
  • Initially, it was planned to integrate only kb4561616 and kb4562561, and offer NET Framework 4.8 (kb4486129) as an option during installation.
  • kb4561616 and kb4562561 were successfully integrated, then the system was cleaned using Dism and tested. Everything worked fine.
  • The new flblauncher was downloaded, installed and configured.
  • To make the installation faster, it was decided to integrate Framework 4.8 directly into install.wim, rather than offer its installation with cleaning.
  • VC++ 2005-2019, DirectX were added to the updated build. DirectPlay was enabled using EnableFeature.
  • The image was completely cleaned, but it still turned out to be slightly larger than the original – due to the added sets of dll’k for games and the absence of additional cuts.
  • The unnecessary option “Turn off Defender” was removed from flblauncher.ini, since it was initially cut out in LTSB Compact.

The assembly was tested again and showed itself in excellent work. The economy of the original LTSB Compact was preserved – as well as its configuration. In the process of creating the updated system, we were pleased with the complete absence of errors, which indicates the impeccable quality of the original.
