• SystemRescue is a Linux-based rescue disk available as a bootable CD/DVD or USB stick for administration and recovery of your system and data after a crash.
• The rescue disk is designed to provide an easy way to perform administrator tasks on your computer, such as creating and editing hard disk partitions.
• SystemRescue comes with a variety of Linux programs, such as system tools (parted, partimage, fstools, etc.) and basic tools (editors, midnight commander, network utilities).
• The rescue disk can be used on Linux servers, desktop computers with Linux or Windows operating systems. The kernel supports major file systems (ext2/ext3/ext4, ReiserFS, Reiser4, Btrfs, XFS, JFS, VFAT, NTFS, iso9660) as well as network file systems (Samba and NFS).
